Very nice hotel and decent breakfast. Comfortable beds and nice rooms!

During fair time (Iowa State Fair), I expected there to be small issues. They were not a problem. I was irked that they stopped stocking breakfast items at 8:30 when breakfast isn't officially over until 9. They were overwhelmed with so many fair customers but should have been better prepared from experience to handle a larger than normal breakfast crowd for the entire time.

Liked: Clean rooms and comfortable beds.
Disliked: Poorly stocked continental breakfast.

Liked: Breakfast was great except there wasn't any pepper for the biscuits and gravy. Water in a cooler was hot. Coffeemaker wasn't working and buttons on AC weren't working well. Towel rack was broken. Table was wobbly. Ice machine not working
Disliked: Creamer and condiments stocked better Ice machine working

Liked: The beds are comfortable. The breakfast was good.

Disappointed

Liked: Location is very convenient, room was clean
Disliked: Breakfast was dreadful, they had two shows across the street at the fairgrounds that opened at 7 am for vendors who were staying there with 15 people in the lobby waiting on breakfast to open and they refused to open it till 7. Hot water lasted a whopping 4 minutes before it got ice cold. Website shows hot tub but hot tub has been permanently closed. Room was pretty nice overall, pretty modern

Liked: The lights in the swimming pool were super cool.
Disliked: Breakfast wasn’t greatThey tried to first check us into a dirty room, which they fixed. So thank you for that But also random people hanging in the stair wells

Disliked: we had no hot water in the shower or sink so no showers before checkout. No manager on duty to ask for a partial refund!
