Very nice people running the hotel. There were 2 of us, booked the double queen bedroom. Our keycard did not work, so they gave us a key, which was fine! Stayed on the first floor with view of back lot that was freshly paved - no cars parked there which was nice, just a view of greenery and a picnic table back there. It was very clean, and the air conditioning and shower were great! It was very basic, with fridge, microwave and coffee. There are screens on the windows and you can open them! The outlets had usb connections as well. The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. There was an ironing board, iron and hair dryer if needed. If you need a magnified mirror bring your own! The breakfast was very basic, only cereal and fruit I think, but they had a waffle maker! Maybe some bagels or muffins would be nice. My husband did not eat anything but he loved the coffee! That's all we needed! It was a 15 minute walk to the CMAC, which is why I booked the room there. I would definitely stay again if we were going to another event there.

Liked: Clean room; hot shower; great coffee; great beds; walking distance to venue; free parking; great air conditioning!
Disliked: Door lock; keycard not working, but key was fine. Loved the waffle maker, but maybe some bagels or muffins would be nice too.

Exceptional

Great find for one day...

Liked: We were only staying in Canandaigua one night and this place was right on the main road less than few minutes from downtown. The price you could not beat for one night compared to other places. It was easy to get in and out from and there is a key drop box incase you leave before anyone is up front.
Disliked: We could hear everyone walking up the stairs and hear the door opening to the second floor. The parking in the back lot is very tight if you have a bigger vehicle just so others are aware.

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked for things.The continental breakfast was satisfactory with make your own waffles, cereal and prepackaged pastries.The shower was hot.The location was good.
Disliked: The room was worn down, needing painting and better cleaning. The room was noisy from people outside talking and hanging out, the floor above from people walking around and the plumbing was loud when bathrooms used.
