Cheap hotel near I-75

Liked: Very, very close to I-75; easy to access. Water was hot. It was very quiet (I don't think there were too many guests staying there on this particular night.)
Disliked: The inner door to the lobby was closed, both in the evening (around 7 pm) and again in the morning. I, personally, prefer something more official at check-out than just being told to leave my room key somewhere where someone could come after me and take it.I understand it was a "smoking" room, but the number of holes on the bedspreads surprised me. Are guests really that inconsiderate?
