Very large rooms in a...
Liked: Staff very nice and friendly, both at reception and breakfast. Rooms very large with small kitchen corner and microwave. Easy to reach.
Disliked: Rooms are noisy, I have been unlucky with a group of very young people in all rooms around me... power socket close to the bed would be needed.

Pleasant stay
Liked: Great room with large couches and nice bathroom. Very friendly staff. Beds were OK. Around 10 minute walk to metro. Free parking in the area but during day until 5pm difficult to find a spot.
Disliked: You can gear the other rooms very well. We had many children around us in other rooms with much noise. Other than that was fine.

Disliked: During the check-in, the receptionist at the desk forced me to give my credit card as a guarantee. The room was already paid completely in advance. When asking for clarifications, she explained me that she needed it for guarantee, in case of additional costs during my staying. Alternatively, 50€ by cash would had been fine as well. This practice wasn't written inside the terms and conditions or the reservation policy and I haven't been informed in advance. Personally I consider this practice unfair and it should be clearly expressed in advance before confirming the reservation.

Worst Hotel Experience – Total...
Disliked: I booked a duplex suite for six people at Eco Alcalá Suites, traveling with my wife, daughters, and a family of friends. My reservation was made correctly, indicating that we had children. However, after a long and exhausting 500+ km drive, we arrived at the hotel only to be met with an unexpected and unjustified charge of €15 per day for each child.The receptionist, Cruz, showed no empathy or willingness to help. She simply stated that it was a hotel policy, without providing any proof that this information was listed on Booking.com. When I asked her to show me where this charge was mentioned, she couldn’t find it. Instead, she coldly insisted that we had to pay and even stated that she didn’t care if we canceled our reservation.Then, another receptionist, Carmen, joined the conversation, raising her voice and showing no respect for the fact that we had just arrived exhausted, with small children. She, too, failed to offer any solution and continued to insist on the charge.Frustrated, I decided to search for a new booking on the spot, right in front of Carmen, and found that the same suite, including children, was significantly cheaper than what they were charging us at the front desk. When I pointed this out, her only response was that "prices change daily," offering no further explanation or assistance.I felt disrespected, deceived, and completely let down. This hotel does not care about families with children and provides cold, inflexible service with no regard for guests’ needs.I strongly discourage anyone from staying here! If you're traveling with children, avoid this hotel at all costs. It was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I have ever had!
