very nice hotel

Liked: Modern hotel in an attractive part of the city. Bustling restaurant with an atmospheric bar. Prices are stiff but the staff is excellent. Reception was slow due to the system where you have to type your own information. Check out could have been more friendly. Nevertheless a very good place to stay, wine and dine.
Disliked: The room was warm notwithstanding us trying to influence the AC system. That had no effect.

Disliked: Very annoying with a dj playing loud music in the restaurant. It was impossible to have a conversation.The restaurant had added 10% tip to our bill without our approval, which we saw at check out yesterday.

Major safety issue with an...

Disliked: One of the hotel staff used a master key to enter my room at midnight while I was sleeping. While I think it was an error and he meant to access a different door, this raises a serious safety concern. Physical safety latches need to be installed in all bedrooms as matter of priority so that the electronic door key mechanism cannot be overridden by a master key or anyone who might use RFID amplification technology to open the door. In addition, processes need to be reviewed in terms of staff understanding what doors access bedrooms vs cupboards or other spaces.When I raised the issue with reception staff the next morning, after barely sleeping the rest of the night, there was initially very little concern. As a solo female traveller, I will not stay at this hotel again as I do not feel safe there.

Liked: I loved my room. Very comfortable stay. Clean and will definitely visit again :)
Disliked: For this price it would be a nice to be able to make coffee or a hot beverage from your room. Also an iron should be included as standard without having to request for one at the front desk
