Liked: The location is excellent but similar to 5-8 hotels on the same street (E. Bay).Having a restaurant in the basement is definitely a great feature. Lobby coffee is excellent and always a cold bottled water available at the desk.
Disliked: Please clean the carpets and furniture in the room and hallways. A hotel of this price point should not have sticky cloth couches and the carpet is almost black with dirt. I sat in the one cloth-arm chair in my room and the arms were nasty. I'm a facility maintenance manager and I know when furniture and carpet needs cleaned. It was about a year ago!

Liked: Everyone on staff was professional and friendly. Everytime I entered the building, I was addressed by name. The parking was excellent. The building was beautiful and I loved the history.
Disliked: It is a pet friendly hotel; I am allergic to dogs and cats. My eyes were puffy and my nose was running the entire time I was in the hotel. I would like hotels to have a few rooms that are no pets allowed for people like me. I love animals, but my body doesn't. I will never go back. And I will have to ask more questions before I book another trip.

Liked: EBI has the best location, right across from River St. We couldn’t have asked for friendlier staff, who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.It was also great to have the breakfast restaurant Debi’s just downstairs.
Disliked: Nothing
