Liked: The meals were delicious, and the staff was exceptional.
Disliked: The property could use a bit of a face lift.

Disliked: The elevator was rustic and unsuitable for such a large hotel.The electrics and extension leads in the room left you wondering *******Not enough staff, waiting times in the bar and restaurant were far too long

The perfect base to explore...

Liked: Eagle Mountain House is a lovely hotel that retains its quaint charm, with warm and welcoming staff. It’s perfectly situated in the midst of the White Mountains, very near to the Kancamagus Highway and Mt Washington. So much to see here!
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

A beautiful place to stay.

Liked: We liked the old, historic nature of the inn. We found the trails in back to be very peaceful and enjoyable. Most of all, we loved the front porch which is set up beautifully with rockers and some tables facing a gorgeous mountain view. The staff is friendly and courteous.
Disliked: We only had electrical outlets in the bathroom and one very difficult-to-reach one in back of the fixed headboard. We worked around this and while it would have been aware, it did not detract from our experience significantly.

Fantastic "Grand Hotel" with period...

Liked: Eagle Mountain House was a pleasant surprise and maintained a lot of the charm of the old "Grand" hotels period.The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful.We loved the fact the hotel had not been modernised too much but was still very comfortable.
Disliked: The hotel bar seemed to close quite early which was slightly disappointing, but may have been due to licensing laws.

Liked: New Hampshire people are the warmest in the world.
