Liked: I have stayed here before. The rooms are immaculately clean. Hot water comes out the tap. The heat and tv works. What more do you want. Mattresses are comfortable but not luxurious. Good, basic place to stay. Location is also convenient to downtown Manitou Springs

Great place when you are...

Liked: Stayed in the past, and breakfast was in the office. Now is not the high season, so we were given a breakfast sandwich, a granola bar or similar, and a bottle of water per person. The room has coffee maker and coffee, a refrigerator and a microwave.
Disliked: Nothing I can think of.

Liked: Staff was very nice, breakfast was good, and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Street noise was a bit loud at times, but manageable

Superb

Liked: The location is perfect. It is just a few minutes walk to downtown and to the bus stop where the free shuttle to the manitou incline is. The owner is nice. He gave me granola bar and sandwich in the evening when he learned that I am leaving early the following day to hike the manitou incline. The free parking space is a big help too.
