Fantastic location, walk to most...

Liked: No breakfast included. Fantastic location, less than a block from the main attractions in the heart of Rockport. Room was very clean.
Disliked: The mattresses have memory foam toppers. When I investigated WHY I found what looked to be a very old mattress underneath. I did not get a good night's sleep, mostly because of the uncomfortable mattress and because the room was too light from the outside light coming in through the window (I closed the slatted shade as much as I could) and the light on the heat pump unit. I expected a better quality mattress for the price of the room. Also, in order to adjust the heat in the room you have to call or text the owner who adjusts it remotely. This seems bizarre!

Beyond y expectation

Liked: The motel was really clean and in a good shape! The neighborhood was good, close to a church. The location is prime, very easy to walk to Bearskin Neck. The amenities were included so that's really nice.

Good Price.

Liked: Clean Room. Great Location. Very quiet Location. Shower decent size and lots of hot water. Heater in Room worked well (during very cold weather). Mini Fridge, microwave and TV all worked. Good price.
Disliked: The bed was too firm and very uncomfortable. Only 1 chair in this small room and it wasn't comfortable either. Room was very small and needed some updating. Bathroom didn't have heater.

Liked: Quaint, simple room ,but very clean. The manager was very accommodating with our late arrival. His advice to eat prior to arriving in Rockport at night was helpful.
Disliked: Bathroom was very small.

Liked: The location is great.
Disliked: The only positive aspect was the location. The office was closed when I checked in and out at the expected hours. It was a hassle to get into my room. I had to call the Manager to learn where the key was hidden (which involved my going up and down stairs several times). As an older woman traveling alone, I didn't appreciate that there was a note placed where anyone could see, which included my name, room number and the fact that my room was unlocked. The room didn't look like the photo, was unattractive and small with nothing on the walls. There were no drawers, not enough hangers, no coffee maker, very thin toilet paper, etc. It was tacky, not quaint as I had expected.
