Liked: Unusual accommodations due to its history (old metal foundry). However, very comfortable and well appointed. Much attention to detail. Gawler is kind of out of the way to Barossa Valley, but enjoyed the accommodations.

Liked: Well appointed room, attention to every detail, very generous breakfast provisions, port and chocolates, the personal touches makes it even better

Liked: Quiet, good breakfast food in fridge, firm bed.
Disliked: Shower was a problem , first shower flooded the bathroom floor, I had to have a weaker water shower flow to manage flooding.

Couldn't ask for a better...

Liked: We love The Eagle Foundry couldn’t fault it. The owner was lovely. We were blown away with the space and totally enjoyed playing pool in the evening. Highly recommend this property.

Liked: We are light breakfast eaters and only ate a very small proportion of the excellent range of breakfast items provided.
Disliked: The only issue, as mentioned in the note that we left on the table with the key, is that the drain from the shower is largely blocked somewhere and the shower base filled up and overflowed onto the floor. Also, before water overflowed from the shower base, water quickly came up through the floor drain in the bathroom . It took some time after we had finished showering for the water to drain from both the shower base and the bathroom floor, Not a negative comment about the accommodation - just a comment that some maintenance is needed asap.
