Great central location for exploring...
Liked: Location is amazing - 100 steps from Hotel de Ville metro station. Easy walk to Notre Dame. 10 minute walk to Chatelet metro and lots of transfer trains.Rue du Temple is a pedestrian zone. It's busy and bustling but not noisy. Lots of cafes and great shopping nearby.
Disliked: Be warned - lots of stairs. 56 stairs up to second floor, no elevator.

Perfect location, a decent sleep....
Liked: The location is incredible. Rooms were clean and there is a fire door outside many of the doors, which helps keep noise down from the hallway. The heater worked so well that we actually had to open the window sometimes. It was overall exactly as expected and no major complaints.
Disliked: The towels are quite small, but we made do. The stairwell is shaped a bit funky and some of the steps aren't the same height as others, so we had to get used to that! The bathroom could have used a little more cleaning as there was a touch of mold, but I didn't even notice it right away so it wasn't awful.
