Liked: Location was it was spot on.Staff were terrific.
Disliked: The rooms were tiny and the hotel was absolutely boiling. If you are claustrophobic avoid at all costs. I paid for two superior doubles I got allocated one superior and one tiny little room. Both rooms were boiling hot and the AC wasn't working. I moved to the first floor and the rooms were much better but there are no plugs next to the bedside and in fact just one plug I could find where the coffee machine was plugged into so charging your phone if there is more than one of you is a headache. Shower also looked good but very impractical with the shower head right against the wall and you can't really get under it nor can you move it. Won't stay here again but will look for a better hotel in the same location next time.

Liked: Great venue and location. Comfortable rooms, beds, and beautiful sitting rooms with log fires. Very helpful and nice staff.
Disliked: Some rooms have water pressure issues in the showers.

Disappointing repeat stay

Liked: The bar area downstairs was fab.
Disliked: Fridge & TV did not work. Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Loud generator noise on and off during the night. Poor pillows. V old fashioned coffee machine. First night, no water in the room. Hotel gave a 10% discount for all the problems.
