Lovely break.

Liked: The swimming pool and steam room was lovely although the pool and changing rooms were very cold. Our dinner was superb the restaurant staff were exceptional.
Disliked: We only had one towel in our bathroom. We tried ringing housekeeping and reception numerous times but there was no reply. We got an extra towel for our room from the swimming pool.

Frustrating

Disliked: I booked through booking.com but paid at the hotel. When I checked in and paid I found out they had changed the opening hours of the spa facilities as it was Christmas. I said I no longer wish to stay and they advised to cancel it on booking.com and they will refund me. It is now 6 weeks and no refund, they never call me back, they are blaming booking.com, booking.com say they have tried calling and never get a response. Dunston Hall has the money in their account yet still nothing. Although Katie manager agrees it should have been resolved they can not refund me and sort their issues out with booking.com

Disliked: One off the older chaps behind the bar Friday evening was a little rude , he was serving us and a lady just wanted to ask a question and he said very sharply serving !!
