Adequate just

Liked: The pool was excellent.The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Disliked: The room was small,ok for one night.The evening meal was grossly overpriced, the soup was sent back by two people because it was cold.

Lovely stay in a country...

Liked: Staff are very friendly and helpful, our suite was really warm and quite comfortable, and we were able to park just outside. Views were over the grounds and the hotels vegetable garden. Food was very good, excellent flavours and presentation, but portions of the starters in particular are small.
Disliked: We were in the annex which meant a short walk to the main hotel, which means having to put on coats to go for meals etc. Also our room had only one power socket, which wasn't great for charging up phones and tablets.

A fantastic place to get...

Liked: The hotel has real character as a Scottish country house hotel in a beautiful setting.

Disliked: Pillows on the bed were far to hard and therefore had a restless night bed was very comfortable

A potentially superb hotel undermined...

Liked: The setting is magnificent and the hotel is generally very comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing in one respect - there was a consistent lack of fruit with only very small amounts available on a central table. Other meals were generally good.
Disliked: The room, the Douglas Suite, did not match the prior description. It describes the view from the window as overlooking the Tay. In fact, the Tay is not directly visible from the room which looks over the elongated roof of the spa. The description of the room as a 'suite' is also misleading as it is a single space with a small table by a window and two rather uncomfortable chairs.

Liked: Beautiful hotel, setting is absolutely stunning with gorgeous walks. Food is exceptional! Pool area is very nice.
Disliked: Bed was so hard and uncomfortable
