Comfortable, good value, don't be...

Liked: At first glance, the motel looks a bit sketchy, but the room -- though small but good value -- was comfortable, quiet, and secure. Walkable to restaurants, downtown, etc.
Disliked: I am familiar with Duncan so wasn't too concerned by the neighbourhood, but some people may be concerned. (This is Canada though and, in the scheme of things, very safe. Some people are just having a tough time of it and you may see them in town!) The motel is clearly going through renovations, which is great. My room was freshly updated with a comfortable bed, heat pump, etc. (Bring a sleeping mask though -- the light of the heat pump is very bright.)

Very clean room

Liked: An extremely clean room in a basic budget motel within easy walking distance to downtown Duncan. The staff was friendly and competent
Disliked: WiFi was very week. Try to stay close to the office. The area was not bad but a little down and out.

Liked: Staff very helpful and friendly and accommodating. Room and property.was quiet.
Disliked: Was pretty cold , the mini split didn't heat the room that good

I've been here a few...

Liked: The bed is amazingly comfortable. The pillows are great too and I'm fussy about pillows. I usually bring my own. The room is basic but very clean. And the staff were wonderfully friendly and supportive. The TV is huge. Wow.
Disliked: Nothing. Great option to stay when in town for business and all you need is a clean and quiet room with a comfortable bed.
