Great hotel near Belfast International...

Liked: Characterful property with lovely gardens and river running by. Room was clean, bright and spacious. Restaurant served exceptional food. The halibut was out of this world! Good breakfast selection and friendly service. Great all round!
Disliked: Nothing to fault. Ask for a room near the reception if you want to avoid a long walk along a very long corridor!

Liked: It was a lovely hotel and staff were very friendly
Disliked: I booked thinking I was getting a room right at the new hotel hot tub garden as that's what was advertised. Got put on top floor well away from everything despite being 1 of only 10 people staying in the hotel that night. No atmosphere, including the bar. Completely dead and felt really uncomfortable

Disliked: I wasn’t very happy that it wasn’t stated properly on the website that you had to book a Spa Garden room to use the Spa Garden part of the hotel. It’s upsetting that we weren’t offered to upgrade as I would have paid the extra if I had’ve known especially as there was no one using it that night or morning of our stay. I was not aware of these details and didn’t feel like I should have had to ask. It was also my partners birthday and I asked for a card or plate to be placed in the room and it was not, the room also wasn’t under my name on the tv so I’m not sure if the room was set up last minute. I would definitely visit again and pay the extra now that I know what is required to use the Spa Garden but also when you are paying £200 a night I think it should be allowed for all guests.

Comfortable friendly hotel even when...

Liked: I loved the old world charm of the hotel, where comfort was not at the expense of ambiance and age.The hotel was what you would expect from a modern four star hotel but it went beyond this. We were delayed at the hotel as a result of very bad weather and there were a variety of places that we could sit in comfort to read quietly, sample the spa facilities or simply spend time in the bar areas or restaurant.
Disliked: There was nothing I didn’t like. Reception staff were extremely helpful at a difficult time and the bar staff were young and enthusiastic.
