Excellent for my needs. Would...

Liked: Location excellent to visit Blenheim Palace. It's approximately a 10 minute car drive away. There is also bus stop opposite into Woodstock. We also visited Bampton. A village in which some of the series Downton Abbey was filmed and Burford, another Cottswold Village. Both approx 30 minutes drive away. The rooms are in an annexe which may not suit everyone but, other than a noisy radiator, was peaceful. Plenty of car parking. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Check in was excellent. We were allowed an early checkin so we were able to have coffee before heading off to the Palace. The venue is a restaurant, but didn't have a meal this time. Would definitely stay again.

Liked: It was everything you would expect of this type of establishment. Comfortable, lovely welcome , delicious food.

Liked: Staff very good and welcoming. The room was warm, clean and cosy. We took our dog and luckily we were prepared. Cream carpets with small doormat so take towels or blanket to protect the carpet.We ate in the pub on the evening and food was very nice and service good. Breakfast was lovely the next morning. Would definitely recommend. Just outside Woodstock which was very busy so we were happy.
