Lovely team, comfy bed and...

Liked: Central, room well appointed although a little cold due to draft coming through the windows and the windows rattled (there was a storm and a heater provided which helped a lot!) The cozy bed made up for it! The beers in the room were a nice touch as well. The team were lovely and the breakfast included was great!
Disliked: The stairs - it is a old property! But adds to the charm. No fridge for the beers!

Liked: The hotelnis exemplary units detail...they have spent loads of money pyjamas with coffee machines in the rooms,bathrooms to die for,beautiful lighting g and delightful staff(Danielle,Hannah,waiting staff..beautiful blonde and dark haired,tall waitress)Lady(dark hair,charm,personified) ...all such a great advert for Shepherd Neame.
Disliked: Not much..probably not having a lift.

Perfect stay in the heart...

Liked: Wonderful property in excellent location at the end of the high street. Beautiful room, excellent food and drinks, friendly and accommodating staff. Just a quick walk to the beach.

Not a hotel for relaxing...

Liked: Staff were lovely!! Coffee was great. Bed was comfortable. Rooms were clean.
Disliked: It is essentially staying in a pub where there are areas to relax or cosy up. Would be great if were charging £130 - £150 but not for £200. Comparing beautiful hotels like The Pig not far away where you have spaces to relax with a fire, country walks around and the atmosphere to enjoy at circa £250/ night.

Liked: Interesting building, recently redecorated, love the colour scheme, pictures and fabrics.
Disliked: Pity about the parking situation. Surely local authorities could provide reasonably priced long stay parking for visitors to the town.
