A Wonderful Stay at Duisdale...

Liked: I recently stayed at the Duisdale House Hotel in Isleornsay, and I must say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. My stay in a Standard Room with a queen-size bed and a bathtub was incredibly comfortable. The room was spacious, offering plenty of room for relaxation, and I loved that it was serviced every day, keeping everything tidy and fresh.The hotel also offers private parking, which was very convenient, especially when traveling with my furbaby, REX. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly – instead of just handing us the room key, the friendly staff (shoutout to the Indian staff!) personally guided us to our room, which made us feel truly welcome.The hotel’s restaurant provided great meals, and I was impressed with the quality of the food. Plus, the added bonus of being able to bring my dog made the experience even more enjoyable. I was also happy to note that there was no additional charge for our pet, despite comments from other reviewers.Overall, I highly recommend Duisdale House Hotel for anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay in Isleornsay. Whether you're traveling with pets or on your own, you'll have a fantastic time here.
Disliked: One downside to the location is that it is in a very remote area. While there is an EV charging spot nearby, I did find it difficult to use due to very poor network services in the area. This made things a bit challenging when it came to navigating or booking things on the go. The hotel’s restaurant provided great meals, though the dinner prices were on the higher side. However, if you're open to a short drive (about 15 –20 minutes), you can find other dining options with more affordable prices.

Liked: The property was beautifully presented and our cabin was very cosy with lovely decor. The staff were a delight. Welcoming, friendly and the service was outstanding. Special thanks go to Clara who gave us amazing service and the chef who prepared the most delicious meals and was so accommodating to our food allergies and requirements. The whole stay was a highlight of our trip around the UK.

Liked: Beautiful hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, the bed was very comfy. The staff was absolutely amazing, super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent too! Would definitely recommend.
