Liked: The view, being on the sea front
Disliked: NO wardrobe, chest of drawers, or dining table. 2 chairs only, NO seating area furniture. Old, chipped bedside tables, We asked them to clean the patio windows and repair the stool with broken legs - never happened! Old '70's "Avanti Complete" kitchen unit, chipped and doors don't fit, very sparsely equipped. Glaring "Bathroom" light fitting over kitchen unit. Bathroom was grubby below 36 inches, grout corners, old heater, no plug for basin or bath. No night light. Cheap TV with no HDMI for my FireStick. Lots of space in this "suite" but bring your own furniture!! LOOKS LIKE A 70'S HOTEL THAT HAS BEEN VACANT AND IS BEING RESURRECTED!! Stayed 4 nights and would have checked out except that we had to pre-pay! There's a clue - never been asked to pre-pay before.

Liked: Restaurant was closed
Disliked: Was a little run down worn carpets and stairs. The pillows were comfy though.

Room with a View!

Liked: Clean room, friendly check-in, great location. We had a water view room. It was cool having coffee on the deck and watching the seals swimming in the water. Very tranquil location.
Disliked: A couple more towels in the room would be nice but not a deal breaker.

Dirty rooms, rude staff that...

Liked: The location is the best aspect of. Beachfront property and amenities close by.
Disliked: Dirty room, ant traps everywhere, the morning of our departure the recycling bins were turned around by bears and the trash was spilled. They could have clips to keep the trash from opening.

We loved the Sunshine Coast...

Liked: Although location was waterfront, we had a view of only the parking lot. Very dissapointed
Disliked: Our room did not reflect the on-line pictures. Outside access (hallway) was NOT clean. Dirty and rusty waste container at foot of stairs. Curtains off the hooks, Chips in the flooring. Fan in bathroom did not clear the mirrors. It took 1/2 hr to clear plus the use of hair dryer...due to clogged vents. We reported this but did not get fixed before departure. We don't feel we received value for our stay.
