Regret

Liked: The sink isn't in the bathroom it's by the bed so when you wash your hands in the middle of the night after urinating everyone wakes up. I paid for valet parking and from what I saw everyone else was smart enough to self park. I sent my text to pick up and I thought that someone would see it and bring the car around. I had to show the attendant that I had sent the text, then wait for him to get the car. If I had self parked I would have been in the car and driving.

Minimalist Hotel near the interstate

Liked: We'd booked a king room which was described as a cosy room on arrival. We were upgraded to a king which overlooked the interstate and on request, moved to a city view room. This was a disruptive start to our stay.. The rooms are minimalist with no storage and concrete flooring which made it feel cold and unwelcoming.

Liked: The cafe was good, the bar staff, Mike was fantastic. Pool are was really nice. I loved the retro decor.check in was really easy.
Disliked: The hotel was very dark. Lighting in the bedroom was particularly bad. Not good for putting makeup on.The location of the hotel was not what I expected. I thought it would be a shorter walk to Music City area and Broadway. Parking at the hotel was a bit pricey for the location.
