Fine hotel, but were unclear...

Liked: The property itself was fine, but we booked a double and due to something being wrong with our room we were transferred to 2 singles and offered a refund. This was annoying, but a reasonable response. In the morning, we were told that actually a full refund was only possible if we had decided to turn down the rooms and we would only receive a half refund. This was not communicated the night before. Now that the refund has come through it is less than half of the amount paid. The hotel was fine but the miscommunication around this issue was not.

Liked: Easy check in and clean
Disliked: Checked out a day early as Shower didn’t work and parking was all permit only outside of one parallel road. Good if you’re coming on a Saturday evening into a Sunday for parking but if not then come by train
