Very disappointing

Liked: The hotel reception team were very understanding and were able to support us moving rooms after night 1
Disliked: We were given a room with no accessible windows/daylight (window was behind headboard of the bed) TV was not working. Burst pipes meant that the hallways were covered in buckets and ceiling tiles hanging down in the corridors. The music was far too loud at the rooftop bar that guests were leaving to avoid blasting eardrums, as the staff refused to turn the base down. People smoking drugs, when asked bar staff if they could stop them was told "it's called the hi bar for a reason" No prioritisation for hotel guests during happy hours, so had to wait ages for refreshments. When asked if we could be served by the pool, we were told "too busy to be serving you here, you'll have to queue up with everyone else" It was a very popular happy hour for general public to come into for their swimming pool photoshoots! The building is very tired, needs a lot of investment. Definitely not up to Dream Hyatt brand standards. Still awaiting a response from my complaint! A very disappointing visit!

Everyone at this facility was...

Liked: Location was perfect! Being so close to the beach and many restaurants was a highlight of our stay. Daily cleaning service and complimentary water and coffee was excellent and made our stay much more comfortable! Most of all the people at this facility are incredible and so very kind.
Disliked: Carpet and lighting were run down and in need of an upgrade. Elevator to pool did not work so had to take very difficult stairs.

A stylish hotel with helpful...

Liked: Proximity to the beach. Great pool area. Comfortable and stylish bedrooms.
Disliked: Breakfast service at the restaurant was slow and not well cooked.

Good location, nice hotel, great...

Liked: The location is fantastic. This was the 3rd time for us in this hotel. And actually not as good as before. We were put in a room at the street side which is extremely noisy. The next day we were moved to a nice quiet room, that was fixed smoothly. The rooms are very nice. The concierge Juan is just amazing.
Disliked: The pool is managed by another company then the hotel itself. The music was way too loud around the pool itself to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Operating the sound system is like sending a spaceship to Mars, involves more people and takes more time. The manager is willing and doing well but the girl at the rooftop bar is just lazy and has no idea what it requires to facilitate guests requests when they are not happy. Very very disappointing experience. Very Hyatt unworthy.
