Fantastic stay

Liked: Great location walking distance to Broadway and the upper east side. Also near Chelsea market which has great food and drink options. Hotel is modern with a good vibe

Liked: The location was good. But that is all this place has going for it.
Disliked: I would not call this a 4 star hotel. Maybe when it was originally built but not anymore. The rooms are sparse, no coffee machine, microwave, and mini fridge is full of booze so no putting anything in there and mine wasn't even working. No ice machine accessible to guests. Lighting is controlled by some convoluted old button system and they turn on automatically when you enter the room. So if you go leave the hotel to get coffee because again there is none available within the room (or even the hotel before 8 am) when you try to come back into the room the other sleeping guest is getting a bright and rude awakening. There is a $50 per night "resort fee" but not sure what it covers since the pool is closed and there are no other even basic amenities inside or outside the room. Also the bathroom has all glass walls and door so if you want any privacy at all you won't find it here.
