The Dreadful would be a...

Liked: Central location
Disliked: Very dated hotel, I did not expect much at the price but it didn’t even meet my low expectations!!! Old washed out bedding, nasty carpet, dirty bathroom, noisy room from live music in bar directly below, the list goes on…….avoid, pay a couple of pounds more and get something better. Cheap and nasty!!!

Very very cold hotel

Liked: I like the actual hotel
Disliked: Having stayed previously Return stay…..The room and the hotel were freezing…So cold ….And no option for breakfast There were no exaggeration 100 of people looking for breakfast on Sunday morning from tour buses…The restaurant would have done a good trade….But staff said it was not worth while opening…The wee bakery across the road had a queue of at least half a mile …

Good sized room, comfy, warm...

Liked: Bedroom was large, comfy & warm. We had a bay window with seating in the window overlooking the town which was lovely. Great location
Disliked: The only thing i would mention is maybe abit of a spruce up on the outside. I appreciate its an old building but it would look abit more appealing to guests if it was painted. I think it would be better if it was made clearer in the hotel or in your room about the breakfast option. That was quite confusing to whether you actually offered breakfast, the price & timmings !
