Drakes is a luxury boutique hotel on Brighton's seafront overlooking the Brighton Palace Pier. It offers unique 4-star accommodations and has a fine-dining restaurant and vibrant cocktail bar. Liked: Bed - comfortablestaff friendly and efficient.Breakfast good.
Disliked: Bathroom - would have expected a proper door between the bedroom and bathroom, it was a frosted glass shower door.Room small and decor a bit tired.This hotel would have been lovely 10 years ago but needs updating

Comfortable hotel with easy access...

Liked: Comfortable room with great view over the pier. Nice private bar/reception area. Lovely breakfast.Wide restaurant menu although we didn't have time to try because only on a short visit.
Disliked: Wet-room style bathroom not easy to access and cramped, especially when trying to avoid splash areas. Hadn't realised that there were going to be lots of stairs up to our room.
