Liked: Restaurant was amazing
Disliked: Pool a bit tired with lots of broken areas around the edge. Also no one at the bar during the day. For the money and in a superior room I expected a fridge and dressing gowns in the room

Lovely hotel but recommend staying...

Liked: Beautiful hotel, large spacious bedroom and bathroom. Lovely grounds. Small but relaxing spa. Breakfast excellent. Friendly, helpful staff.
Disliked: We had chosen a room in the coach house, separate from the main hotel. It was very cold in the room and wasn’t very convenient for the spa.Staff were extremely helpful and tried their best to make us more comfortable.

A really enjoyable break

Liked: Excellent, good choice of food. Location nice. We stayed in a lodge not in the Hotel, so not convenient to use the pool. The room was cold on the first day, only a small radiator for such a large room. Huge bed, just wished sheets and quilt fit it properly. That said, a good break

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay

Liked: The room (Coquet) was lovely and very comfortable with a huge walk in shower The breakfast choice was excellent, tasty and well presented as was the delicious evening meal.the hotel was perfectly situated for our touring and visiting around the Alnwick area,We used the pool and spa which was very enjoyable.
Disliked: The room was very cold to begin with but the staff were very quick in rectifying this by bringing an extra heater

Liked: We liked everything, the staff were exceptionally thoughtful and professional and the hotel and room cleanliness was 10/10. We had a fabulous stay and our evening meal was really good.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like.
