Liked: Lounges, decor, restaurant, staff.
Disliked: Very uncomfortable bed, old mattress, high step into over bath shower. Had to ask for non-slip mat.Fixed shower head but no shower cap provided. No hooks on wall for outdoor coats, had to lie mine on floor. Not able to adjust room temperature. Limited menu in restaurant, overpriced drinks.

Liked: lovely period property in nice grounds
Disliked: the room chosen featured a freestanding bath (it’s the main photo) which is a main reason it was booked as my partner loves them. we got to the room and it was a standard bath with a whirlpool system. I returned to reception to ask for an alternative room however they were fully booked. later I seen a notice that they have disconnected the whirlpool baths also due to health and safety reasons

Liked: Quality of the breakfast was very good. Staff very pleasant and helpful.Grounds were really pleasant to walk around and enjoyed the various spacer inside the property to relax.

Disliked: The room was a garden room and had not be pre heated. It was 14 degrees for the extent of our stay, freezing! Especially as there were storms outside.DO Not book a garden room in winter!
