While the hotel's design is...

Liked: The staff was very courteous and helpful.
Disliked: While the room was large it was very dark and the only window opened to the breakfast area giving us no privacy, However the hotel management changed us to an upgraded room which had more privacy but still quite dark. While the rest of the hotel's design and ambiance is spectacular the rooms unfortunately aren't equal.

Liked: The restaurant in the hotel is wonderful. The hotel feels historical and modern.

Cool stay in City Center

Liked: Great location if you want to stay in the city center. Cool rooms, layout, comfy beds and linen, well stocked bar, good quality toiletries, welcoming staff.
Disliked: Breakfdast can be improved. Pool area lacks character and feels outdated - same with roof top bar.

Charming hotel in historic centre

Liked: A delightful boutique hotel in the bustling historic centre of Mexico City. The staff were helpful and obliging. Any problem was attended to promptly and the rooms were quite unique in their design, if a little dark.
Disliked: The only thing we didn't like was the restaurant downstairs playing tecno music during the day, which was audible if our windows were open.

Great location, but wouldn’t spend...

Liked: Super central spot in an amazing historical building. Great rooftop bar
Disliked: Can be quite dark, it takes some getting used to it Also, really didn’t appreciate the fact that for that price there’s no water available in the room. Had to go to front desk to complain to be told that we could have some water from the mini bar free of charge. Compared to other hotels in the area we stayed at, I think this is very off putting. I ended up going to 7/11 to buy water as we were so thirsty.

Overall the stay was nice...

Liked: The ambiance was perfect and I loved the decoration of the facility and the rooms.
Disliked: The hotel staff followed us to our room. It was very unpleasant having eyes on you as if you didn’t belong there or as if you were up to no good. I understand the guards are there to make sure certain people aren’t making themselves in the facility without permission but the staff need a better way of checking people going in because following behind us made us feel very uncomfortable and unwanted. Try better please. Should have someone checking keys near the elevator before people enter this way they aren’t guessing and making guests feel uncomfortable.
