Lovely and pleasant.

Liked: It was what I expected, lovely country side and to wake up and have such a view from both windows. Slept very well. Very warm welcoming and excellent hosts.
Disliked: It could be a bit more clean, spider web on the bedroom ceiling and in the bathroom there is at the pink wall, right at the top a cord of webs and there is a quite big spider living under the sink. Minor adjustments with the next cleaning.

Excellent property, would gladly return

Liked: Ample parking was available. The hosts are helpful, considerate, and lovely people to stay with. There are many small touches throughout the house and the room that made me feel welcome, including fresh cut flowers in the room and in the common areas. The breakfast room and separate lounge are beautifully decorated, a pleasure to sit in and enjoy. Breakfasts are superb, better than most and very flexible with the choices on offer, with home-made jams and honey.
Disliked: The location is good, it takes 20 min. by car to Durham, but there is not a whole lot of scenic walking to be had in the immediate vicinity (i.e. taking off on foot from the B&B).
