The only problem was that we would have liked to have coffee in the lobby instead of lemon water - cold, damp weather was not a draw to lemon water; in the morning there was coffee but that coffee wasn't hot. Otherwise the hotel was clean and staff was kind and polite.
Liked: Clean; quiet; polite staff.
Disliked: No coffee in lobby.

We were very pleased with our overnight stay at the Double Tree in Tinton Falls, NJ. The hotel was really nice - rooms were immaculate, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

It met our needs for...
Liked: Clean room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom.
Disliked: No free kids channels on TV. Very small bathroom. Could have used another grab bar in shower for senior visitors (closer to faucet & shower head). On a Friday night, it was VERY noisy in halls; loud talking and slamming doors until past midnight.

Expectation Failure!
Liked: The size of the Junior Suites.
Disliked: My stay was a total fiasco. The day of my stay I recieved an email for virtual check. Wow awesome I thought. I hitbthe virtual check in button which then made me down load an app. While doing the virtual check it said I had succefully cancelled my appointment! In a panic I contacted Double Tree. I was told they could not help me and that I needed to contact booking.com as they are a third party. Even though the email confirmation was from Double Tree they could not confirm my reservations. Well then why did you send me the email. After two and a half hours on the phone back and forth, on the Eve day of my baby girls wedding I was told everything was secured. My rooms were still booked and paid in full. When we arrived at the Hotel late that evening it all began again to the point where I felt like I was going to pass out. I had to find a bathroom before I did it fact pass out. I showed the receptionist my confirmation with pin numbers, emails from Double Tree, Booking.com and the payment alert for my stay from DISCOVER. They had me insert my card and another payment alert this one in the amount of $1274.00 was sent via text from DISCOVER even though I was told it would not be charged. We went to our rooms which were perfect, other then the size of the bathroom which are quite small. The following morning I get a call from the front desk that they needed me down stairs ASAP FOR AN URGENT MATTER. My mother is 90 years old all my children and multiple family members were there preparing for my daughter's wedding as well as many others traveling a distance there for an event of 200 people. My heart dropped! I get down to the front desk to be told they needed me to Fill Out A Form! That was urgent!! Mind you this is on THE Day of my daughter's wedding! I fill out the form as they are saying payment was not received again I showed all my emails and confirmation of payments ect.
