Ok as a base but...

Liked: Nice looking building and a great location
Disliked: Food was poor, had to wait an hour for a table eve though half the restaurant was empty and not used, ordered starter, main and drinks and 45 minutes later starter and main came out together… and then had to ask again for drinks. Leisure facilities need maintenance and more frequent cleaning

Spacious, lovely atmosphere staff pleasant...

Liked: breakfast was good,but had run out of bacon by 9.45 when breakfast finished at 11.00 which is poor. Dinner of burger and chips at nearly £20 was pretty basic and poor value I could do better myself with a little garnish.We will definitely be back but will dine out instead.
Disliked: Evening meal

Liked: from the minute we entered and went to reception, gwen took great care of us. It felt like we had known her for years, and it had only been 2 days . The manager on duty was fabulous, and Sharon, who took care of us at breakfast the bar was great had all our favourite drinks rooms, were lovely clean and spacious, loved the swimming pool sauna steamroom, and jacuzzi definitely be back
Disliked: The toaster in the dining room was a bit temperamental pale toast or burnt toast, and i was bit disappointed there were no pancakes or nutella.The ladies' changing room needs updating a bit, maybe shampoo and conditioner in the showers and a radiator or heater as it's very chilly when leaving the pool
