They gave our room to someone else. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room and they were smoking and partying in it. No ice in ice machine. Charged for continental breakfast. Poor all the way around. We will never stay there again.

Relaxing
Liked: I loved the hot tub! My room was very clean and the hotel itself is pretty quiet. The staff and the other guests are friendly. The complementary shuttle was nice as well.
Disliked: I didn’t like how it’s away from the city life, but they make up for it by having a hotel shuttle. However the shuttle bus is subject to availability.

Very good
Disliked: You have to pay for parking which is kind of ridiculous these days, especially when you’re already paying to stay there.

I wasn’t completely happy with...
Liked: It was very clean.
Disliked: The lady who checked me in was not so nice. The hotel charges for breakfast and parking. I stay in Double Tree Hotels before and had never been charged for breakfast and parking.

More expensive than expected
Liked: Size of the room was comfortable
Disliked: Every little thing was an extra charge including the parking. If you didn't know about parking you got a ticket.

Great stay, will stay again....
Liked: Let me just say that I’ve stayed at this hotel before and it's always been great but 2 things were different this time. Having to pay for parking ($10/night) and you had to ask for the cookies and they had to go in the back to get them. BUT…. The saving grace for the entire hotel was Lisa who works in the restaurant, McKnights, that’s inside of the hotel. She was the sweetest, kindest person that I’ve met in a really long time. She was the only one working in the restaurant and while it got quite busy, she kept her sweet disposition the whole time. We had dinner at the restaurant both nights that we stayed there and she was great both nights. Also, the food was EXCELLENT so kudos to the chef too! I hope that when we go back to visit our family, Lisa will be at McKnights because she is just TERRIFIC!
Disliked: Do better with the cookies. Those cookies are a great incentive to stay there but when I have to ask for cookies and they have to be brought from a room in the back, I feel like I’m bothering people about it. And why are we paying for parking now?
