Liked: The rooms were nice and cozy, bed was very comfortable.The gym and pool is very clean and nice.

Decent

Liked: Location and sense of safety along with a pleasant staff.
Disliked: The fact that no no breakfast was offered gratis with the reservation not even a continental breakfast was disappointing. My friends who stayed close by all had breakfast with their room. I will check there first for my next Schenectady stay.

The location is great if...

Liked: The Location was terrific, given that we were visiting our daughter at Union College. The bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The breakfast was really disappointing. The French Toast was so bland as to be tasteless and the amount of fruit served with it embarrassing. The bathroom in the room was so small that two people couldn't be in it at the same time. There was not enough parking. There was no fridge in the room.

Clean and reliable option for...

Liked: The staff was very friendly and though it was very basic hotel faire, the food from the restaurant was always fresh and tasty.
Disliked: There were some areas of our room that needed some attention from the cleaning staff. The duvet was dark grey on the corners and for some reason the fire sprinkler in the bathroom was wrapped in old, soggy paper towels.
