The air conditioning unit was loud and not cooling well. This may be the reason the room had a very slight musty smell.

Disliked: The toilet ran all night and the AC was loud when it clicked on. Also didn’t realize that there was no refrigerator in the rooms and food I bought was wasted because I couldn’t keep it cold.

Affordable, clean, excellent location, quiet

Liked: Hotel is always clean, staff is courteous and helpful, location is great for anyone visiting UCF or the immediate area. We were greeted with the usual warm cookies at the front desk.
Disliked: There have been some changes in the many years I have been staying here. We had always been offered bottled water upon arrival, now there is no complimentary water. The room had no drinking glasses, pillows were uncomfortable, and coffee pod options were limited to decaf with two little creamer cups and two sugars…not enough for two adults who like coffee in the morning. We had to go out of our way to request a blanket, more regular coffee pods, additional sugar and creamer packets…just little details that would have made our stay much more relaxing and enjoyable.

Liked: Close to MCO. Good location if you don't want to drive all night to get your early flight.
Disliked: Pool wasn't heated and had lot of leaves from the trees in the water.

Dissapointing

Liked: Initially came in, an thought the facility and staff were incredible. Went to the room and the halls looked nice, but the scent was a bit musty. The hotel should use an aroma in the HVAC. Then the room was a great size. The furnishings were nice and the shower was nice (could use a shower hose though). Then we tried the bed. The bed was lumpy and soft and the pillows were the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever used. I had to sleep on my side, so that my back would not hurt. The alarm clock was nice, but it DID NOT HAVE A PLUG IN THE WALL, so it did not work! Then when we got up the next morning my wife took a shower and opened her eyes in the shower and was COVERED IN RUST WATER! So much rust water, that it clogged the drain! The bright spot was that the staff immediately switch our room to another. The bed was a bit better, the pillows were MUCH better. HOWEVER, this shower tub leaked all over the bathroom! Overall, the best part was the staff was very responsive and they were only college students!
