Liked: The location was good and our room was spacious.
Disliked: We arrived in NYC at 10:30am and went to drop off our luggage. We arrived back at the hotel at 5pm to check in to be told no room was ready (2 hours post check in time). We went back at 6pm as we had a reservation at 7pm to finally be given a room - very poor first impression.

We recommend it !

Liked: We had a nice stay at the Doubletree. The location is perfect, very close to Times Square which is really easy to get around walking. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was cleaned everyday, it was on the 16th floor and we didn't hear any noises from outside nor from the neighbouring rooms.Read many comments about the long wait for the elevators but honestly it didn't feel that bad at all, never had to wait more than 5 minutes and only during the "rush hours".Overall we recommend to stay at this hotel :-)
Disliked: Only a few minor things like the shower curtain being too short so the water came out on the floor when we showered. Also would have been nice to have a mini fridge a bit more storage (closet is a bit small).

Bad

Liked: I booked the room for my CEO and know the Hilton as a very nice place elsewhere around the world. My CEO had to change hotel and moved out due to condition of the room. It was really bad.
Disliked: See above. Window was not able to close and it was freezing cold.

Superb

Liked: Staff super friendly, check in & check out easy. Location excellent less than 10 mins walk to middle of time square & right across from port authority bus terminal. Beds super comfy with lovely pillows. Shower was powerful. View was amazing. We had 2 rooms 3005 & 3014.

Liked: Great location. Simple but confortable for a short stay. Offers all the amenities.
