Liked: Good location, nice rooms, nice hotel
Disliked: The staff were horrible, unhelpful and made our first day of the trip absolutely terrible. A week before we travelled we offered to pay for our stay but were told we needed a credit card which neither of us had. So we decided we would pay with debit card at the Accomodation. We arrived to be told our Accomodation had been cancelled and there were no rooms left. It being almost 10pm in New York City we were frantic and asked what could we do, where would we get Accomodation so late. The manager turned around to us and said “it’s not our fault you didn’t have $1 in your account”. My friend whose first language isn’t English asked her how the room could be cancelled without contacting us by call or email. The manager, a young lady kept saying “I don’t understand you” which I found extremely rude and offensive as someone who speaks English only and could understand my friend very well. We were told to leave reception and try another hotel but that was “unlikely” as “this is manhattan “ (manager) We were exhausted from our travels all day and felt that we were being treated awfully by the staff. We asked for internet which the porter ended up helping us with so we could rebook another hotel. We noticed there was a room available for the same days online which meant the hotel wasn’t booked out. We rebooked this and another younger gentleman booked us in. The manager never returned or spoke to us after this.Holding back the tears we finally got a room after an hour of stressing and the staff (particularly the manager) were unhelpful, absolutely horrible and discriminatory.

Disliked: Issues Encountered:❌ Smaller-than-advertised room – The listing stated 20m², but the actual room was barely 15m², including the bathroom.❌ Missing amenities – No fridge or kettle, only a capsule coffee machine with limited pods.❌ Non-functional TV with local channels, making it useless.❌ Mold in the bathroom, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category.❌ Extremely loud heating/air conditioning, making it difficult to sleep.
