Liked: Only the location was good
Disliked: I used to stay at this hotel in nyc but no more! This time i got a very small room in which we could not move at all. The bed was only 30cm away from the bathroom. I could knock the bathroom door from the bed! We had 3 luggages, 1 big and 2 small but we could not find a space even for them. I had to put my small bags on top of each other. Also the breakfast was very disappointing, for sure not worth it. On the street so much better options for half price. They give you a daily voucher and you have to keep it. Then you need to give it to the lady in the restaurant every morning. Why do we need a voucher, so annoying? Secondly it was exactly the same food every morning. Very limited options unfortunately. So overall the hotel counts on only to the location but for me it is no longer good enough!

We simply loved everything there,...

Liked: We liked everything there, we liked the room we stayed in, the view was beautiful, we could look at the Empire State Building. The hotel breakfast is wonderful. The cleanliness is exceptional, everything there smells good when you walk in the door, you can smell a wonderful perfume. I'll be going back there soon.
Disliked: This is a very difficult and tough question for me, as we liked everything there.

Exceptional

Liked: Dannia, on reception, was very helpful during all of our stay. She helped up change rooms to a lower level on day 1 as my husband doesn't like heights. She also gave us advice on places to go and always had a smile for everyone. Staff in general were very nice.

Location and bed were great.

Liked: I think the highlight was the size and comfort of the bed. The location was not bad either.
Disliked: The shower was annoying, as I couldn't adjust the temperatures without being drenched with hot or cold water first. The shabby people hanging around the entrance left me with an uneasy feeling. The size of the room... hmmmm. For that money, it is almost unacceptable to fly from Switzerland to New York and have a view of a brick wall, which was poor, and have virtually no space to move around comfortably. Also, the chambermaids did not throw out used coffee cups or apparent trash but instead just left them around; I could hear every noise and movement from the lift and neighbours, including weird noises outside my window on the 24th floor. I'm unsure if I was near an air conditioner box.
