Mediocre experience, at best

Liked: The staff was friendly. They give you fresh baked cookies on arrival. They smelled great, but they have nuts in them so that was disappointing (unless you like nuts in your cookies, of course).
Disliked: This is completely my fault, but I forgot my kindle on the nightstand. I contacted the hotel right when I realized, unfortunately I was almost home and 5 hours away. They had me fill out an online form, which was completely worthless. They “didn’t find” my kindle, which I gave them a very clear description of plus included pictures. I’m still upset about this. So, if you stay here, don’t forget anything!! You likely won’t get it back!!

Disliked: Long distance between front lobby and rooms, but also nice to be away from busyness of front lobby. Hallways were very hot.

Liked: very comfortable place to crash after our flight was delayed. room was super clean and the towels were the densest, fluffiest hotel towels i've ever used. we initially went to the wrong doubletree, because there are two in the area, and the front desk at the wrong hotel was kind enough to tell their shuttle driver and get us a free ride to the correct location.
Disliked: parts of the facility are a little dated and hallways are confusing to navigate. we had a complicated issue with our booking that led to us being charged for the room when it should have been free (we had a voucher from our airline) but a quick visit to the front desk before checkout got the situation resolved.

Nice hotel close to the...

Liked: I stayed here as Delta Airlines cancelled my International Flight to Amsterdam. Found it as a good location to spend a night in MSP. Very close to the airport and Mall of America. Clean and nice rooms. The restaurant was nice and open late. Good food and good service, although a little pricey. The staff was welcoming, but overran as Delta was sending a bunch of passengers to stay there. The woman at the guest services was kind and helped me with some booking issues and the use of Delta Vouchers. I would stay here again if looking for an airport near the MSP Intl Airport or MOA. I also liked that they have a free shuttle that takes you to and from the airport.
