Major management involvement needed to compete with good LA hotels. Will not go there again.

Disliked: Room size; handicapped aids; menus; lack of real restaurant; value.

Although I thought this hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly, for what I paid I could have gotten much more somewhere else. I thought it was pretty tacky that they charge for overnight parking, it's not like you are going to park for only a few hours. $32 is too much to park when your room is already upwards of $300 for a standard room. Also my pet peeve - one packet of sugar and one creamer might look nice and appointed in the coffee caddy in the room, but not very realistic. Also, if you are sharing a room with someone, make sure to bring your own toiletries, because there will not be enough shampoo for 2 people. But then again, aesthetics are an important part of the illusion of luxury. The rooftop garden was beautiful and peaceful. Location was perfect. Overall good experience but a bit pricey for what is offered, but then again that's LA for ya.

Liked: Location is good, right next to Little Tokyo, 10 mins walking to DTLA.
Disliked: Just like the complaints from other guests! The hotel is old, room was small, window in my room was so dirty. Breakfast was way overpriced. And since the LAPD is nearby, you gonna hear sirens all night long. Definitely would not recommend for anyone who has trouble falling asleep!
