My family and I had a great time - the hotel was clean and staff was really customer friendly. I will revisit this place.

I will never stay at...

Disliked: Because it was on a golf course you have to pay a daily parking fee on top of the stay. I was overcharged on my deposit . There was a discrepancy of the original charge and what they reported to billing. Because of this and the non- cooperation of billing saying I was charged less. They charged me over 1700$ and tied up over 2300$ of my money for 31 days. The bank would not work with me neither would the hotel. I chose this place and we stayed for a week, I wanted to take my daughters somewhere nice after a difficult time in our life. We ended up living in the car for over 2 weeks because of this issue. Never again will I stay here or recommend the doubletree agin. You cause trauma to my family.

Uncomfortable.

Liked: Beautiful curb appeal and excellent location. Entrance and common areas were was nice as well.
Disliked: We booked a king room but when we arrived, were told they sold out of that room and they offered my husband and I a double...okay. Then, when we walked into our room, it was terribly hot and smelled entirely of curry - quite terrible and clearly not cleaned recently - the odor was just as bad if not worse than smoking. It's clear the room was used for a long term or extended stay. Some of the rooms even have doorbells for example. We did our best to air out the room but the intense smell was so overwhelming that it made our overnight stay TERRIBLE. We informed the front desk and nothing was done or offered.

Great place, minor inconveniences but...

Liked: Location was good for what were doing that weekend. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Area is beautiful.
Disliked: The bed sheets felt a little rough, and control of the AC was limited, esp for the price we paid. We sleep hot, so like to keep the room cold.

Liked: The people were very nice and in general the hotel is nice. The cleaning of the rooms was great, they have a good staff. There are pickleball courts. Great hot tub.
Disliked: The hotel is huge! There is a single evaluator on each side of the hotel. It is the longest walk in any hotel that I have ever been. I must of been amazing 30 years ago. They really need to update the hotel with new carpet etc. Besides being dated and BIG I don't have any complaints.
