Dull, dirty and outdated, no...
Liked: Location
Disliked: The breakfast and I use the term loosely, was a choice of brown or white toast, warm juice, warm water. The drinks were served in paper cups and the toast was on, wait for it, 1970’s Polystyrene plates. I thought it was a party for an 8-year old.The polystyrene plates put me over the edge so we left, made for Euston Station and enjoyed a grown up breakfast there.,We were refunded £10 off the £247 bill. I rather think I’d give £200 to a charity and stay in a hostel as it felt like one. The place is so out dated it needs urgent care. The front of the hotel is covered in scaffolding where I assumed it was having work done, I now it’s to mask the place.

Location is excellent, staff needs...
Liked: The hotel boasts an excellent location, just steps from Marble Arch and Oxford Street. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. While the staff is polite, they could benefit from paying closer attention to guests' requests and feedback.
Disliked: The hotel is currently surrounded by scaffolding, which detracts from the overall experience. The rooms are cold, and the outdated AC system requires careful adjustment to reach a comfortable temperature. There was a razor cover left behind the sink by housekeeping, and the windows could benefit from better insulation to block sound and drafts.Upon check-in, it took the staff about three minutes to locate my reservation due to a lack of attention to their list. When I mentioned that the rooms were cold, one receptionist tried to help, while another somewhat dismissively suggested that I hadn’t turned the AC on. When I clarified that we had two rooms, she offered to check if the AC was on in both, which felt a bit condescending.Finding a good hotel in London can be challenging, but this hotel does have the advantage of a prime location!

Bad choice.
Liked: The room was extremely small. The bed was small, and the bathroom was also very cramped. The furniture in the room was old, and I could hear the noise from the street, which was especially disturbing in the morning. Initially, they placed me in a basement room with no windows, which felt gloomy, despite the daily rate being very high compared to the room size. The lobby was also small, and most of the facilities shown in the pictures were exaggerated and didn’t match reality. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its proximity to Oxford Street. I requested an extension to stay for an additional four hours, but the supervisor refused, claiming there were other guests waiting.
Disliked: I regret choosing this hotel. I expected what I saw in the pictures to match reality, but that was far from the case. The room was very small, with limited space and old furniture. It was also quite noisy. Initially, I was placed in a basement room with no windows, which felt very gloomy. I went to the front desk and insisted on being moved from that room, and they eventually relocated me to an upper room on the first floor. However, I still had several issues, as mentioned before. Overall, the price I paid for this hotel was very high compared to what I received. It was a bad choice for me.

Great location, bring an eye...
Liked: The doormen were both really lovely. We really appreciated being able to drop our bags off early and collect just before we went home. Location fabulous and meant we could pop out to Edgware Road for dinner and then my teen could fit in even more shopping before we went back to the hotel as shops were open until 9 or 10pm.Loved that there was a bath and the Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries meant our light packing worked out well (shampoo, separate conditioner and body lotion).
Disliked: Beds not super comfy. I asked if we could swap from a double to two singles and was charged for an upgrade at 5pm in the evening which felt grabby. Lots of lights in the room- bright telephone screen, bright clock. Breakfast fairly basic but fine. Street noise.

Liked: The location Friendly staff
Disliked: It’s a bit old, need more renovation The access for wheelchair need always to be checked The room is not isolated , it was in the first floor (next to reception) and I can hear everything (slamming doors, phone rings, laughter)
