Staff were fantastic, great location...

Liked: Great facilities and good location. Not too far from main areas where we wanted to be! Ideal location to get to grassmarket/castle/royal mile!
Disliked: Our windows were slightly thin in the room and were not easy to close properly. You could hear the outside world however the thick curtains were good at blocking a lot of the noise.

Great location, attentive staff and...

Liked: The reception staff were excellent. The room was comfortable and the 2 double beds were appreciated. When booking for 2 adults the assumption is often that we're a couple so twin rooms are not offered. We were a mother and son group so the 2 double beds were great. The lovely cookie presented upon arrival was a bonus (and delicious). The location of the hotel suited our purposes well. The breakfast was very good, and again, the staff were attentive and professional. We had a drink in the bar at night and again - great staff. I'd stay here again.
Disliked: Nothing - all was good.

Liked: EVERYTHING was amazing. The room,the view. The staff were always smiling.
Disliked: Nothing disappointing at all.

Liked: Perfect location for exploring Edinburgh. Very comfortable room and bed. Helpful and welcoming staff on front desk. Good breakfast.

Edinburgh Doubletree

Liked: the location easy central to both princess street and the royal mile. the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable.
Disliked: the gym facilities were very basic, the advertised roof top bar was closed and the breakfast buffet was not the best.
