I was able to get this hotel for $100 a night. Was not the most fancy or elegant but it did the job. Walking distance to the venue.

Liked: Very close to Hard Rock and City Walk.

Liked: Clean; affordable; room service and housekeeping were great.
Disliked: No balconies for a non smoking facility.

Doubletree Hotel is within walking distance of Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Hard Rock Live, and CityWalk. The Florida Mall is also a 15-minute drive from the hotel. It's a great place to stay if you're vacationing on a budget.

Liked: Centrally located near many different things.
Disliked: Parking fee I was not informed of.

Liked: The hotel is beautiful inside. Lots of options of activities to do and places to eat. Even had a gift shop.
Disliked: Housekeeping was still cleaning after 7 pm. Very loudly. I had to get up to ask them to stop. I called the front desk, and she did offer me another room but also made the housekeeping stop.

Perfect location for the Universal...

Liked: Proximity with the Universal Parks and the shopping mall, the city view by night, Starbucks and restaurants inside the hotel
Disliked: An old fashion room, impersonal and very dark, we did not find the shuttle for the Park so we went by walking (20mn walking)
