Not what we expected

Liked: The only things we liked were the location, the coffee bar downstairs, and the room size. The hotel is close to many stores and restaurant options. The room was a nice size for king room. Our children liked the coffee station in the main lobby.
Disliked: There were far more things we didn't like. Overall, the experience was not what we've come to expect from a Doubletree hotel. The cleanliness was sad. The shower floor was stained with what appeared to be dirt, the ac was blowing with an odor, the bathroom vent was dirty, the carpet was discolored, the bathroom faucet leaked, and some of the room furniture was damaged. Some other negatives were the weed smell on a no smoke floor, and there were only cookies available on one of our three days. How did they not have cookies?! It's one of the reasons Doubletree is a child's favorite hotel. The stay was ok enough for a short stay, but we wouldn't consider this location again.
