Disliked: There were simple things missing, which you don't expect in such a hotel

Lovely hotel with excellent staff

Liked: The reception staff were very kind and helpful On arrival they gave us a warm cookie which was a nice touch, they gave us a glass of prosseco on passing through on another occasion and were extremely helpful in ordering a taxi for us
Disliked: The settee in the room was a little uncomfortable if I had to pick up on anything And the room wasn't as big as I would have expected

Disliked: Not clear from the website, you don’t have access to the pool. You need to pay £20 per person to use the facilities and need to book in. I arrived at 3pm and didn’t realise and there was no capacity which is a shame considering all I wanted to use was the pool.

Disliked: A little way out of Chester so need taxi to get in. Use of spa/pool requires an extra payment of £20 per person it was not easily visible on booking.com web site.
