Nice and clean. It was like staying at a 5 star hotel for 3 star price.

There are train tracks right next to this hotel, so sleep was difficult. No refrigerators in rooms was an inconvenience. Nice bar upstairs.

Liked: Very stylish hotel and comfortable beds.
Disliked: New person at check in didn't do a good job at explaining the hotel and the parking situation. Rooms are quite small.

Liked: Great place to stay and walking distance to the Paramount.

We were at Cedar Rapids the past weekend for the Pink Martini show. We were so happy to find a nice hotel room with an affordable price. It was our second time staying at a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel and it was our first time in Cedar Rapids. We were glad we booked this hotel because it's located two blocks from the Paramount Theater so we were able to walk to the theater and stroll around downtown.

Liked: Great front desk service with a warm welcome and cookies.
Disliked: No free wifi; no refrigerator.

Disliked: the heater didn't work in the roomwe checked in the room was cold so turned heat upleft to eat and hang out for the evening then back to the room and was still freezing turned up more gave it another hour and no change by then it was to late to say anything about it and either have you guys fox or move rooms because my kids had to wrestle the next day and I didn't want to delay their sleep any longer than it already was so we just put up with itordered breakfast and it took over an hour to get it so I canceledfor over 200 dollars a night not happy

Liked: I liked how the parking garage was attached. The beds were nice.
Disliked: The staff was not nice when we checked in. We had been traveling all day and didn’t look the best, still very much so presentable. And the staff greeted us very differently from the rest, people who were all dressed up. I asked a simple question why $50 was added to our total price. They do in case additional fees, but she looked at me and laughed and gave me a snooty answer. Our bathroom was not clean. There was a tampon wrapper under the door. For what we paid the room did not match.

Disliked: Confusing getting from parking and skyway into hotel. In town for wedding. Front desk confused about everything Said shuttle on the way. Realized the shuttle had been outside for 15 min. We were late to wedding. When trying to book originally directly through hotel was hung up on.
