Liked: Restaurant was out of lots of food/drink options, pool was closed the entire weekend, and they wouldn’t even allow a late checkout of even 45 minutes in a Sunday.

Great hotel,.good price

Liked: The front desk attendant was so helpful and pleasant to deal with. The Alloy restaurant had absolutely great food. Every area of the hotel was so clean.
Disliked: The only negative was the doors on the bathroom in the room. They should close complete for privacy and comfort reasons.

Disliked: We were excited to stay here with our miniature poodle, but the day of our arrival, we were told they don’t allow dogs! It clearly stated on this booking site that the hotel was dog friendly! Bad form Doubletree ☹️

Liked: Very nice room and pool area. The room was also nice.
Disliked: Little to no parking, having to park in the parking structure seemed a little bit weird, but that seems to be the only option that was there, so what do you do.

Give it a try if...

Liked: This is right in the heart of Battle Creek. Great if you want to explore, but not too far out of the way. Get the welcome cookie whenever you can, it's nice and warm. Staff are above and beyond kind and helpful. The restaurants have great food as compared to just being mediocre.

Disappointing

Disliked: I reserved this room a week prior to our stay for Valentine's Day. Upon arriving, first thing I noticed was the front parking lot, which is gate protected, was completely filled. There was no sign available to find out where overflow parking is. I figured out by following other cars that overflow is in the parking ramp.When I booked our room, booking.com had a selection where you pay $50 extra and you receive a $50 property credit, early check in and late check out. I had to ask for the vouchers that could only be used for breakfast (I was going to use them for dinner) and they only have me $40 in the credits. Then, we were told that they cannot honor our late check out, even after showing the proof that it was included in our price.Last but not least, while getting dressed for dinner, we had our volume set in the low 20s. We forgot to turn the tv off when we left and we get a call from the front desk saying there's been multiple complaints and no one is answering the door so we need to turn the tv down or leave. This could've been received better by me if I was first asked if I was in and can they enter the room. I had to ask myself if that was even an option.Long story short, I absolutely loved my first stay here but I will not be back. I received better treatment at some of the lower rated hotels.
