I'm so happy I chose...

Liked: Loved the hotel . The Cafe was great . The staff in the Cafe were lovely and made the best coffee . The gentleman that works there was really funny and extremely friendly . Gabi was also lovely and friendly . Always nice when staff want to have a chat and enjoy working . Nothing was too hard when I asked for my coffee to be made in a certain way . . I also liked the free bottles of water.All staff were lovely and professional .
Disliked: I really didn't like how people leave thier towels on the pool chairs This made it difficult to know whether the chair was taken or not .It was extremely frustrating. Staff need to monitor people leaving towels and walking away . Or make a sign ." Don't just leave towels on chairs when not in use" . Sorry but when you're on a holiday and you want to relax I don't feel I should be fighting over a chair . The orange lounges with cushions need to be cleaned .

Relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Liked: Spacious room with nice beds and a couch with great views. Good room amenities of refrigerator and coffee/tea making. Lovely bathroom essentials.
Disliked: Big wet patch on the carpet when we arrived. hose to hand held shower rose was perishing/breaking.Included breakfasts at The Star in my deal were good but organisation and flow of the buffet was terrible. My daughter and I had to eat in relays as it took so long to get through the line and the area for omelettes was always a blockage point. Sauces were hidden by people standing around. Waffles were never available even though we went at 3 different times, we always missed out. Having stayed at the Langham, problems could be solved with teh buffet if omelette orders were taken and delivered to tables.Also cleaning of tables was less than ideal when staff clean with a greasy wipe and then with same gloves on, handle cutlery. Some guests had been coughing during their breakfast so cleaning then handling clean cutleryfor next gurests likely transfers germs.

Liked: The location was convenient and close to the convention centre.
Disliked: Being above the casino on a Saturday night there was a bit of music played below.
