Very good

Liked: The place was really nice and clean. Green and close to the water, with lovely views and a pool. The cabin was a decent size and everything worked well.
Disliked: We were a bit disappointed that the canoe and paddle boats were not included. There was no sugar or tea, but otherwise the kitchen was well equipped.

An amazing lakefront paradise!!!

Liked: Beautiful grounds that are really well maintained. Lots of things right on site to keep you occupied, including an outdoor swimming pool and kids playground.Fantastic views and a gorgeous waterfront property with fire pits right by the water and a dock with kayak and paddleboard rentals.Quaint, rustic cabins perfect for "glamping". (Full kitchen, TV, Internet and HOT showers!!) Minutes away from an amazing beach.Very friendly staff and owners!!! If you have any problems they will come help you out right away.The best cabin fun all rolled into one!!
Disliked: This was only unique to our experience because all other guests we saw during the week didn't encounter this situation.A family books the entire property for the September Long Weekend and this meant with our checkout on Friday August 30th, we ended up having a family show up to check in at 10am before we had completely checked out. Normally check out is between 10am and 11am, and check in starts at 4pm. It just made things a bit awkward and if we had known about this special occasion we would have adjusted our booking to avoid any conflicts. This was only a tiny glitch in an otherwise glorious vacation experience!!

Liked: The beds were very comfortable, it was nice to have an inground pool to use along with the fire pits.
Disliked: Our cottage wasn't very clean. I understand it's a cottage, however there were spider webs in the bedrooms and bathroom. Didn't make us feel very comfortable staying in the cottage. When I travel I always bring Lysol wipes with me, no matter where I stay - hotel, air bnb etc.. I wipe down the bed side tables, light switches, door handles etc... When we cleaned the bed side tables it was full of dust and dirt :(There was a lot of chairs around the pool, however half of them were broken and falling apart.

Very enjoyable

Liked: Would be nice if there was beach access because I had my grandchildren. But they loved the pool.
Disliked: Floor looked clean but after walking around in bare feet, they were pretty dirty.

Liked: The cottage was clean and comfy. The pool was good too! The grounds were nice.
Disliked: I just didn't like that I was expected to sweep and mop the floor before I left.

Liked: Location was just great for us: on the shore of St. Laurent river. No beach though. They said we could swim if we wanted using the deck (we didn't). Ottawa 1,5 hour drive, Upper Canada Village 20 minutes! There were 2 beaches not far, but we didn't have enough time to go check.The hosts are very nice! Friendly!Calm place! Barbecue, swimming pool, canoe, bonfire - all things are there included in the price. Pans, sauce pans, big salad bowls - all set!We wanted to add more days, but they said they were all booked for the rest of the summer. No wonder! Nice place!
Disliked: Wifi and TV! No big deal for us, but... kids complained.We had 2 bedrooms cottage, but no sitting room - only kitchen with a big table which took all the space. It looked like one of the bedrooms was made out of the living room space. The terrace compensated for that though.The beds were some kind of okay - maybe not the most convinient I slept on, but acceptable. We had our pillows from home. It helped.Paper towel roll was missing in the kitchen. The dishes were the pieces of all different sets: all kinds of glasses, cups and plates.
