Amazing location and great value...

Liked: The breakfast was amazing and location could not have been better. There were a few hiccups -- they only had one room key and for whatever reason couldn't make a 2nd one and the hotel safe didn't work but in the end it was very safe. The rooftop restaurant was amazing!!! And they had live music throughout the day and almost nightly. The music didn't go late so it wasn't too loud. The restaurant was packed every time they had music so you need reservations.
Disliked: It was all pretty good and I would return. I didn't give it the top rating because only 1 room key and the safe didn't work and they couldn't fix it. Also, the elevator was broken but wasn't a big deal to us but might be for other travelers.

Great breakfast, but rooms lack...

Liked: Amazing view from restaurant. Very good free breakfast.
Disliked: We were in a room on the ground floor, and we could not open windows as it opened to the main square outside and there were some homeless folks there. It felt pretty hot at times and the AC was not strong enough. This is in December so I can't imagine what happens in summer months

Cute hotel in a good...

Liked: Good location to the Zócalo
Disliked: We booked a deluxe king room for 4 nights paying 6 months in advance. On arrival we were put in a terrible room on the ground floor with a double bed. There were no clear windows. Outside street vendors are literally resting against your window that has a film over it. The bathroom was on a mezzanine level with stairs of death with no railing and there was no toilet privacy. After 2 days back and forth with reception (like a scene from fawlty towers) we were moved to the king room on level 1. This was much better, but know the washroom/ bathroom is open to the room, so their is no privacy.

Liked: The staff was super friendly. The location was great. Close to lots of wonderful activities. The breakfast were wonderful. Best day in Mexico yet.
Disliked: I can’t think of anything I didn’t like

Disliked: Took us three days to get our bearings on finding the Hotel, but just our silliness
