Good stay near Parc Mauricie

Liked: Lovely location. Perfectly fine accommodation close to restaurants in Shawinigan and access to the national park. Good basket breakfast. Comfortable tub for soaking after a long day. The host was exceptionally helpful and patient in giving us directions to the park so we could have a lovely afternoon doing the whole circuit and viewing great stops. We appreciated his letting us in early also. Merci, Jean.

Disliked: We didn't anticipate the noise of the road in front of the premisies. But is was only during the day

Liked: The place was ok and clean, with a comfortable bed
Disliked: The place is advertised as a B&B. However, on the contrary to what we expected, we saw nobody and we had to prepare breakfast ourselves with what was available. Barely enough for 2 days and provided in advance for the 2 days. Not what you expect from a B&B.The Pavillion was rather cold and the heating system struggled to keep it warm.
